Odor Characteristic: Blue Lotus is unlike any other perfume aromatic having a high aporphine and nuciferine content with delicate sweet-fruity-spicy topnotes and rich, warm floral undertones. It has good tenacity, with dominant floral aspects on drydown.

Perfumery: Especially valuable in sacred or spiritual perfumes, it also is found in high-end Orientals, fougeres, amber-exotic compositions and a wide range of florals. It blends with many notes, including agarwood, ambrette, beeswax, spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, the jasmines, neroli, osmanthus.
